Transport Spares & Equipment Pty Ltd located in Welshpool Perth's is a Leading Supplier of Heavy Truck & Trailer Parts.
We are seeking qualified Metal Fabricators / Welders to work on semi-trailer construction to join our company located in Welshpool. This is a full-time permanent position.
This position will include the following duties and responsibilities:
- Manufacturing of new transport equipment
- Reading and manufacturing to engineering drawings
- Welding of steel and aluminium
- Repairs
In order to be considered for the position, you will need the following:
- Strong commitment to quality and safety
- Be punctual and have a good work ethic
To be eligible for this role, applicants must have a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Candidates must also:
- Have extensive experience in using MMAW, GMAW, GTAW and FCAW welding processes
- Have ability to work with a range of metal types and thicknesses
- Be very experienced in the reading of engineering drawings and welding symbols
- A forklift licence is an advantage
- Have a strong adherence OH&S and in keeping as safe workplace
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as required
The successful applicant will be offered a remuneration package between $70,000 - $74,000 (depending on skills and experience).
