The Opportunity
We’re seeking a meticulous and organised Meter Readings Data EntryOperator / Daily Meter Runs Coordinator to ensure seamless tracking and billing of utility data. In this critical role, you’ll be the heart of our metering processes, driving efficiency and accuracy in our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry: Accurate and timely input of Meter Readings for electricity, gas, and water across multiple sites.
- Billing Support: Splitting and allocating utility costs within our DEUC spreadsheets for efficient billing.
- Customer Service: Professional and responsive handling of phone, email, fax and mail communications.
- Meter Run Coordination: Proactive preparation for meter readers, including read sheets, keys, notifications and ongoing data management.
- Process Support: Covering other staff duties during leave periods, ensuring smooth operations.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Software Proficiency: Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel, MYOB experience is a plus.
- Energy Background: Prior knowledge of the energy sector is preferred.
- Communication Excellence: strong verbal and written communication for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organisation and Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
