Metromap Senior Account Manager

We’re excited to share that a new opportunity has become available to join our team in the role of MetroMap Senior Account Manager. This role will ideally be based at our Head Office in Adelaide however remote working may be considered for the right candidate if based outside of South Australia.

About the role

Reporting to the MetroMap Sales Manager, the MetroMap Senior Account Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success and satisfaction of our valued clients. By developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, this role aims to drive customer retention, foster account growth, and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

This dynamic role encompasses a number of key responsibilities including (but not limited to):

• Account Retention and Growth: developing strategies to retain and expand existing customer accounts as well as aligning products/services with client goals and projects.
• Relationship Management: maintaining strong ties with key stakeholders, serving as the main contact and creating key account strategies.
• Product Expertise: understanding the MetroMap platform and educating clients on its capabilities.
• Contract Renewals: proactive management and identification of upselling opportunities.
• Data Analysis: tracking engagement and making data-driven recommendations for account enhancement.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales and post sales experience with a proven track record of success resulting in revenue growth.
• Advanced proficiency with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
• The ability to identify and solve problems through analysis and planning.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial acumen and strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent training in business or sales management.
• The ability to travel locally and interstate when needed.
• GIS/Geospatial industry knowledge and/or previous experience in a startup or high-growth company will be looked upon favorably.
