Your new role

Reporting to the Microbiology Team Leader, as the Microbiologist  you will primarily provide support to the Microbiology department.

Duties

• Supervise the Microbiological Quality Control testing of final products
• Environmental monitoring
• Laboratory investigation
• Sterile testing
• Ensure appropriate and compliant records
• Supervise the validation of relevant Microbiological test methods
• Contribute to external audits
• Contribute as required to internal audit process.

What you will need to succeed

• Highly organised
• Able to engage and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
• 2-3 years’ experience as a microbiologist with in the health care industry 
• Attention to detail
• High proficiency in writing procedural and technical documents
• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related Science
• Sterile manufacturing/testing experience
• TGA/GMP regulatory knowledge
