We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and integrating Dynamics 365 CE (Customer Engagement) and Power Platform solutions. This individual will play a key role in understanding business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and guiding clients through successful implementation and adoption.
Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design:
- Collaborate closely with clients to conduct thorough business process analysis, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize industry best practices and knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform capabilities to contribute to the design of scalable and efficient solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Deliver functional and technical documentation to guide implementation and ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
2. Customization and Configuration:
- Utilize advanced customization techniques to extend the functionality of Dynamics 365 CE, including but not limited to configuring complex entity relationships, hierarchical data structures, and data-driven business rules.
- Develop and deploy custom plugins and workflows using C# and JavaScript/TypeScript to automate business processes and enhance system functionality.
- Design and implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces by configuring custom pages and canvas apps using Power Apps, ensuring optimal user experience across desktop and mobile devices.
- Implement complex business logic and workflows by configuring Power Automate cloud flows, integrating seamlessly with third-party systems and services.
- Leverage expertise in PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) to develop and integrate custom controls, enhancing user interaction and system usability.
- Configure and customise customer portals built with Microsoft Power Pages using Javascript, CSS and Liquid Templates.
3. Integration and Data Migration:
- Lead the planning and execution of data migration activities, collaborating with stakeholders to define data mapping requirements and ensure data integrity throughout the migration process.
- Develop and implement robust data integration solutions using Power Automate/Power Platform, enabling seamless data exchange between Dynamics 365 CE and external systems such as ERP, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.
- Configure and optimize integration with Dataverse (formerly Common Data Service), leveraging data connectors and APIs to enable real-time data synchronization and interoperability.
4. Training and Support:
- Conduct comprehensive end-user training sessions, developing tailored training materials and documentation to facilitate user adoption and proficiency in utilizing Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions.
- Provide proactive and responsive support to clients, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance on system usage and best practices post-implementation.
- Collaborate closely with the support team to resolve escalated technical issues and ensure timely resolution, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
5. Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Develop robust test plans and methodologies to validate solution functionality, performance, and security, leveraging automated testing tools and techniques where applicable.
- Conduct thorough system and user acceptance testing (UAT) in collaboration with clients, ensuring adherence to functional requirements, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
- Continuously monitor and assess system performance and stability, proactively identifying and addressing potential areas for improvement or optimization to enhance overall solution quality and user experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform implementation and customization.
- Proficiency in configuring Dynamics 365 CE entities, forms, workflows, and integrations.
- Strong development skills in C#, JavaScript, and Power Platform development tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Experience with data migration tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently, proactively and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform are preferred.
