The Role
As the iCatalyst group continues to grow, we’re looking to add exciting new talent to our enterprise team across the ANZ region who can bring with them a set of immediately applicable skills as we deliver outstanding service and value to our customers. The role we are seeking to recruit is a Data and Analytics Consultant, primarily focused on delivering Power BI report solutions.
iCatalyst are a Microsoft partner headquartered in Perth with teams across Australia, all focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Applications. Our team comprises of solution experts and industry professionals across a variety of industry sectors, combining product expertise with real-world experience in manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, financial management and more.
As a consultant, you’ll apply and develop your analytical, interpersonal and systems skills from day one. Your day to day activities will be split between customer engagements (Advisory, Implementation and Support) and product and skills development working side by side with some of the best consultants in the Microsoft Dynamics market.
What We Expect:
- A passion for data when working closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide data-driven solutions. Present complex information using data visualization techniques.
- Analyze complex datasets to extract insights and support strategic decision making.
- Design and develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that are intuitive and provide insights, key metrics, and trends.
- Building positive working relationships with both external (clients) and internal (colleagues and peers) that support a great working environment and successful outcomes.
- Influence, support, and contribute to architectural direction and data warehousing designs that are robust and scalable.
- Staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in Data Analysis and Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional consulting teams across the wider D365 landscape to deliver holistic solutions.

- 5+ years of applicable and proven working experience.
Possessing the following would be an advantage:
- Experience developing Power BI reports from ERP and CRM data sources.
- Experience or working knowledge of data entities from the D365 platform such as Business Central, Finance & Operations and Power Platform (Dataverse).
- Advance Excel users with experience in data modelling and Analytics
- While any location will be considered, being based in Perth would be advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
