The Client is a Service Provider with a National Presence who are establishing a new Microsoft Modern Workplace (M365) Practice. They have a diverse range of clients including SMEs and large Corporate Organisations.
About the Role
The client is looking for an experienced Microsoft Modern Workplace (M365) Practice Presales Lead with a strong Technical presales background. Working closely with the Sales Team, they will engage with end clients to understand their requirements and demonstrate Microsoft’s Modern Workplace solution capabilities. The role and its responsibilities will grow as the Practice grows and could develop into a Practice Lead role.
Duties
- Engaging with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements related to Microsoft solutions.
- Collaborate with our sales team in the pre-sales phase to develop solutions focused on Modern Workplace transformations
- Conducting discovery sessions to gather relevant information and identify opportunities where M365 can add value.
- Defining, designing and creating an overall blueprint of the Microsoft Practice’s services and to align with the overall business goals.
- Serving as the technical face to customers during the sales phase, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Leading the execution of Proof of Concepts to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of solutions in addressing client requirements.
- Providing expert guidance and consultation to clients on technical aspects of the Microsoft Technology stack. Address client queries, offer insights, and recommend best practice.
- Working closely with sales teams to support the development of winning proposals and presentations.
- Working with internal and external Technology Partners to deliver solutions.
- Be a proven leader with a track record in leading Microsoft Modern Workplace implementations and projects including (but not limited to): Office365/Exchange, Enterprise Mobility & Security, Apps (Teams, Power BI, Power Automate etc.), Sharepoint, One Drive and Azure Cloud.
- Knowledge of M365 related components including: Endpoint Manager, Autopilot, Intune, Entra ID, M365 Compliance (Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Information Protection), Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management.
- Have solid experience in designing, partnering and implementing complex solutions
- Have a background in consulting/managed service environments, with a focus on sales and presales.
- Have a solid understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Cloud computing.
- Have worked closely with Sales Teams to win work with a collaborative approach.
- Have an understanding of IT Governance, Compliance and Cyber Security.
- Have proven experience being accountable for projects across small, medium and large Enterprise clients.
- Hold Microsoft Certifications, such as:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert – MS-102
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate – SC-300
- Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate – SC-400
