About the role:

The Software Developer (Microsoft Power Platform) is a technical position focusing on improving the development of Power Platform to improve our business solutions. This role has a strong focus on the development, customisation, configuration, deployment, and support solutions in Power Platform. The successful candidate will work closely with the development team to ensure that the solutions are built according to the  business objectives and customer needs to ultimately serve our purpose of saving lives through first aid.

This position presents a great opportunity to join a collaborative IT Services Team in a rewarding role that will see you make a difference by supporting our customers, staff members and volunteers by ensuring we are optimising our systems capability and usage.

The key areas of responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement Dynamics CRM solutions to be fully compliant with a customer focus and business processes
  • Conduct unit testing and collaborate in the system testing to ensure changes have been made in accordance with the business requirements.
  • Securely integrate Dynamics CRM solution with other systems like Portals, Power Apps, Power Automate, Logic Apps etc.
  • Monitor the performance of CRM systems and act proactively when needed to make sure the systems always meet the expectations from the performance perspective.
  • Record and manage technical debt
  • Assist and support internal customers with using our services throughout projects and operations, supporting and mentoring them through the relevant processes
  • Build positive relationships with internal customers during projects to ensure that our relationships with internal customers are strong, profitable and enduring.
  • Provide high-level specialised technical support and consultation to both business and Technology Services management

Successful applicants will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in either Computer Science, Information Technology, Microsoft qualifications or demonstrated equivalent
  • Previous experience in implementing, developing, supporting and maintaining Microsoft Power Platform or relevant technical experience
  • Experience with the technologies to extend Dynamics 365 such as C#, .Net, JavaScript, HTML
  • Previous experience in API development is preferred
  • Experience with data migration/integration from external systems into Dynamics 365
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills
  • Able to demonstrate empathy with the ethos of the organisation
  • Able to work effectively within a commercial and not-for-profit cultural environment
