We have an exciting opportunity in the Corporate Applications team for a Microsoft Power Platform Developer.
Reporting to Teena Thareja, the Solutions Delivery Lead within our Corporate Applications team, a key focus will be to design, develop, build, test and implement new applications and solutions utilising the Power Platform architecture, as well as developing fixes and enhancements to existing applications to ensure user needs are met. The broader focus is to contribute to the technology roadmap to ensure it remains relevant, is fit-for-purpose and aligned with business goals and objectives of eHealth NSW.
We are highly collaborative in our approach and work within an Agile framework. Our team has become a centre of excellence for NSW Health in the delivery of Power Platform solutions, providing an excellent opportunity for you to utilise and develop your skills.
What you will do
As an integral member of the Corporate Applications team, you will:
  • Design, build, test and implement new applications and solutions utilising the Power Platform architecture as well as developing fixes and enhancements to existing applications, ensuring that meet user needs are met.
  • Prepare solution designs including best use of Power Platform environments, Portals, Model Driven and Canvas apps and integration technologies.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation according to governance standards (such as applications installation guides, and written work procedures and processes) as well as training material for users, specific to their solutions.
  • Proactively identify business risks and opportunities to continually improve efficiencies and effectiveness, including participating in continuous improvement initiatives and actively monitoring Power Platform related technologies to promote innovation.
  • Provide advice on Power Platform governance configuration options & capabilities to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure deliverables are met.

About you
The skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for in you are:
  • Hands-on development and design experience with large and complex development projects using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM)
  • Experience in developing CRM custom workflows, plug-ins and integrating Dynamics 365 (CRM) with other software solutions
  • Experience designing solutions suited to Power Platform environments, portals, model-driven and canvas apps and integration technologies
  • Experience in converting business requirements into great Power Platform solutions
  • Ability to take a delivery lead on a project and apply consultancy techniques

A NSW Health agency may require further information about the medical contraindication (including but not limited to an Immunisation Medical Exemption form-IM011 form). Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
