We are looking for experienced Microsoft SQL developer with market info experience for a significantly large multi-million-dollar program for a Tier 1 banking client based in Australia. There are a number of projects as part of the build out of Treasury function which require highly experienced SQL developers with sound data analysis skills.As an SQL Developer with Market Information Experience, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining the treasury hedging system. This project involves
- Building new requirements for an existing system
- You will be responsible for impact analysis on existing code
- Proposing effective database solutions, and estimating development time

Requirement Development:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build new requirements for the client treasury hedging system.
- Leverage knowledge of client systems for optimal solution design.Impact Analysis:
- Perform thorough impact analysis on existing code to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide database solutions to enhance system functionality.Development Estimation:
- Estimate development time accurately for proposed solutions and enhancements.Historical Testing:
- Apply historical testing experience to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the system.Technical Expertise:
- Utilize expertise in ETL processes, SQL Server, SSIS, Control-M, and Visual Studio for efficient development.Financial Market Understanding:
- Apply knowledge of financial markets, with a focus on vanilla derivative products (interest rate swaps, currency swaps, etc.).
- Understand complex Hedge Accounting concepts and lifecycle.
- 5+ years of experience as a SQL developer in Microsoft environment.
- Experience in financial markets and familiarity with vanilla derivative products (interest rate swaps, currency swaps, etc.)
- Proven experience in SQL development for database solutions.
- Expertise in ETL processes, SQL Server, SSIS, Control-M, and Visual Studio.
- Ability to perform comprehensive impact analysis on existing code.
- Desirable experience in historical testing methodologies.
