About the role:
This newly created position, within an established team, will provide administrative support to the WorkCover Unit throughout the WorkCover claims process. Utilising your excellent customer service skills you will provide quality, timely service and support to injured employees in accordance with Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 and Victoria Police policies and procedures.

Your duties will include:
- Provide administrative support to the WorkCover team by undertaking administrative tasks as directed.
- WorkCover claims processing.
- Maintaining Victoria Police systems and programs for records keeping.
- Managing internal and external stakeholder communication to ensure effective collaboration and productivity.
- Prioritise work allocated to ensure priority work is actioned within required timeframes.
- Adhere to Victoria Police policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Proficiency in WorkCover Claims processing is desirable.
- Knowledge of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 is desirable.
- Proficiency in the use of SAP and Microsoft applications is desirable.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
Requirements and relevant information:
- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
