Middle Office Analyst - Funds Manager

Melbourne has an ever changing funds management market and my client is a leader in developing new initiatives.
The front office trade support team is an elite division within the operations group. They provide detailed support to fund managers and perform a critical oversight function of counterparties and custodians.  Working in conjunction with teams like, performance, risk, and Middle Office operations, you will be responsible for the following:-

• Providing detailed support to the fund manager group to ensure 100% accuracy of all trades executed.  
• Work independently to resolve discrepancies with counterparties and custodians
• Reconcile all cash and collateral exposures on a daily basis with internal and external providers
• Assist with the creation of workflow documentation for processes and policies. 
• Work towards being involved with global transformation projects by directly liaising with the PMO to provide information for requirement gathering initiatives.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a broad product knowledge and exposure to globally traded investment vehicles.  You will be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the trade lifecycle and the ability to deal with a variety of counterparties.  Systems knowledge across TLM, IRESS, or other trading platforms is essential.  Candidates who can demonstrate previous experience in a similar role outside of Australia in key financial centres like London or New York will be held in high regard.  To be considered for this role, candidates must be able to demonstrate the right to work permanently here in Australia
