Should you require any adjustments or if you require this document in another format, such as large print or audio, please contact our Talent Lead, Brooke Daffern( ).If you require any information on what to expect during the interview process, please also reach out to Brooke Daffern.Owned MediaReporting directly to the Owned Media Director, you will be covering SEO and Owned Media, from a business development, strategy, client servicing, product and people perspective (where relevant) across Melbourne.Supporting a rapidly growing team, you will be focussed on leading your clients to execute best practice Owned Media channel optimisation such as SEO, Content Strategy, Platform Optimisation and Web Analytics. The remit of the role will be supporting the Owned Media team, while working in alignment with Biddable Media, Audience & Adtech teams to deliver integrated strategy and implementation.Build trusted and influential relationships with all clients, internal Biddable Media, Connections Planning teams along with external technology partners is key, in order to uncover new opportunities for clients and revenue. You will be expected to develop processes and ensure that the team are following them accordingly.You will also be supporting the Owned Media Director to expand the knowledge of SEO and Owned Digital Media within the wider business at Mindshare. As a result, non-search members of the Mindshare team should have an understanding of the teams purpose, value and ways of working. Host training programs, inspirational forums and attend external motivating talks, in collaboration and support of the Owned Media team.Owned Media is a part of delivering the Mindshare Performance Media services, which encompasses the following core services:
  • Search engine optimisation
  • Social listening
  • Platform optimisation (social, marketplace)
  • Website Analytics education and utilization
  • Content strategy and development
Owned Media operates in collaboration with GroupM Nexus, as a community of performance channel specialists to activate all digital performance media for agencies within GroupM.Responsibilities
  • Establish a strategic client relationship and manage scope requirements across Owned Media channels (SEO, Social Listening, Analytics, CRO)
  • Provide creative and strategic direction to the team to improve client project performance within Organic Search primarily, with consideration to other Owned Media channels and tactics
  • Has deep understanding of the client(s) category and applies to work consistently, to help deliver strategy to increase/maintain client satisfaction
  • Possesses excellent ability to lead a client meeting to a clear outcome
  • Applies deep knowledge/understanding of the Owned optimisation landscape, market and trends
  • Responds to clients and partner agencies in a timely manner consistently managing expectations and ensures team members do the same
  • Utilises specialist digital knowledge to educate the client teams around website and owned asset optimisation offering and operations
  • Support the team and Owned Media to own all aspects of digital requirements from strategies, planning, optimization, and importantly the integration with the wider Biddable Media teams (SEM as a leading channel).
  • Oversee and manage development of junior team members on your client account(s).
  • Collaborate and take ownership of upselling opportunities with the client lead and Owned Media leads
  • Develop, present and lead on client QBRs and support the team with demonstrating quality client service
  • Ensure you hit deadlines and manage workflows and tasks for all Owned Media deliverables
  • Provide team career direction and support the appraisal process with all levels within the team
  • Provide dedicated support to manage career progression for your team
  • Integrate seamlessly with client account teams
Experience
  • A background in SEO and Owned Media delivery
  • Demonstrated experienced in team leadership
  • In-depth understand of Owned Media channel integration, particularly with SEM
  • Understanding a variety of business verticals and media impacts
  • Strong experience in formulating Owned Media strategy and delivering to client(s)/internal stakeholders
  • Strong experience with utilising industry leading tools - examples: Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google/Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Looker Studio, Screaming Frog
  • Confident in formalising financial client scoping and deliverable plans
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated experience of career management of account managers and executives
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • Effective and efficient working style
