Brookfield Place is home to BHP Iron Ore’s state-of-the-art Integrated Production and Remote Operations team (IPRO) at Iron Ore. Our Control Centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using advanced, real-time technology to enable visibility and control, across the entire Iron Ore supply chain.
As a technology enabled centre of excellence, IPRO employees work collaboratively with site on a shift-to-shift basis to make faster decisions improving safety and optimising value across the supply chain.

The future of mining is here, and we are expanding our autonomous operations across our West Australian Iron Ore sites. Join our Autonomous Control team as we explore and optimise the potential of our Autonomous Fleet!
Joining the Autonomous Control team, you will be working in an exciting, fast-paced team environment which is dynamic and strives to continuously improve. Working in collaboration with site personnel you will be responsible for achieving safety and production targets, by enabling the effective operation of our Autonomous Fleet using the Command Minestar Fleet Management System.
Reporting to the Supervisor AHS Control, you will safely execute the daily operations plan while optimising the utilisation of the Autonomous Truck Fleet. You will take an active role in ensuring compliance to schedule and operating philosophies, driving a culture that not only conforms to company safety standards, but also seeks to continuously improve operating efficiency and realise cost benefits.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Commitment to a safe working environment.
- Manage the autonomous fleet effectively and efficiently.
- Maximise equipment productivity and efficiency in accordance to the 24 hour mine and maintenance plan.
- Maintain the integrity of the mine model by ensuring virtual road network replicates te physical road network,
- Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation with leaders, team members and site.
About You
Skills and Experience:
- Previous Mine Control or System / Field Builder experience
- Thorough understanding of FMS such as Minestar Command for hauling.
- High level of computer literacy and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Have a collaborative approach, with the ability to engage and influence.
- Strategic, forward thinker with the ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
- Team player, strong communicator confident in collaborating with stakeholders across departments and sites.
