An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Mine Geologist to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the team, reporting directly to the Technical Services Superintendent, this multifaceted role will see you and the Technical Services team executing the mine plan across our operations. Focusing on optimising the resource recovery through best practice coal mining, high quality short term geological models for drill and blast, liasing with logistics and the CHPP to inform coal physical's and high quality reconciliation of recovery and coal quality. The role is also responsible for assisting the site geotechnical engineer with hazard identification and radar management.

To be successful in this role, you are a self-motivated, results driven and resilient character with extensive post graduate experience and a passion for exceptional service delivery. Your excellent communication and facilitation skills, high quality written and verbal communication skills will support your success. Most importantly you will be a leader who demonstrates a strong focus on individual and team safety at all times.
