Through collection and analysis of geological data and tracking of production, the Mine Geologist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and sustainable extraction of resources.This is a site-based role working a 9-day fortnight roster. Temporary accommodation & relocation assistance is provided. DIDO options may be considered.What You’ll DoKey duties will include:Provide effective support, assistance and advice to the mining, CHPP, Technical Services and Marketing departmentsCollect and maintain information for the structural database, ensure accurate short-term geological modelsMonitor the production plan implementation, lending insights to improve efficiencyAssisted/coordinated exploration activities in input and near mine areas for future expansions of the mine, focusing on safety, site selection, and inspection.Drive main contributions for the medium- and long-term geological model of the deposit by means of reviewing and interpreting new geological data.
