Our Client:
We are working with an Australian-based gold exploration and development company with their focus on assets in the East Pilbara, due to recent growth they are seeking a Mine Surveyor to join the team.
The Role:
You will be working on an exciting satellite pit project near Warrawoona with an opportunity to move onto another project once this is completed.
Roster is a 2/2 with a view to start mid-May, your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee the survey marks out of drill and blast rings, mine heading development, exploration drilling and raise bore drilling.
- Survey control for all related mining activities.
- Assist with survey plans including survey instructions (horizontal and vertical development), end of month surveys, dig permits and emergency response plans.
- Survey of end of month development and ore stockpiles, stope surveys, heading development, geological mapping and surface works when required.
- Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Surveying
- Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate
- Current C Class WA Drivers Licence
- Competency with mine software
- Understanding of relevant sections of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations
- Available to start immediately
