The Opportunity
It is a fantastic opportunity to join on a 6 month contract and have tremendous exposure to multiple technical projects! Join an amazingly supportive team across a commercial portfolio, working alongside a dedicated facilities management team. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of projects ranging from $10,000 to up to $400,000, across minor building construction projects, refurbishment works, building fabric repairs, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Account Manager and Facilities Management team in overseeing, managing and delivering Minor Works Projects across the infrastructure division of a complex and diverse account.
- Implement standards and processes to enable the planning, management, delivery and handover of projects.
- Preparation and management of projects across the full lifecycle, including preparing project scopes, obtaining quotes, running RFQ and tenders and evaluation.
- Provide timely and accurate information to complete monthly and other reporting requirements, tracking project timelines and budgets.
- Performing site audits, and management of DLP.
- Projects are varied and interesting, ranging in scale and size

- Over 5+ years experience in the industry, in particular, project management, building and construction, engineering, architecture or facility management, including an understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards
- Working knowledge and experience of Work Health and Safety governance/quality/standards
- Good work organisation, ethics and team player who shares knowledge and know-how
- Ability to be decisive on business issues, displaying timely and quality decision making, working effectively under tight deadlines and pressure
- Excellent communication skills to maintain effective relationships with key internal and external customers and suppliers
