Your new role
As a Mitel UC Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Mitel Unified Communications solutions. This role involves developing system architectures, performing daily administration, and providing advanced troubleshooting to ensure seamless communication across the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proven expertise with Mitel MiVoice, MiCollab, MiContact Centre, and other Mitel products.
- Strong knowledge of VoIP, SIP, and telecommunications protocols.
- Experience with network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, QoS, and VLANs.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with other UC platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom) is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Mitel Certified Associate (MCA) or higher.
- Relevant networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are desirable.
