Join our Police, Emergency Services and Health portfolios as a Mobile Case Manager. This role is in the Southern Sydney Metro area, operating out of our Sydney office.
This role is face-to-face engagements with our customers across Sydney will be the key part of your day. Build on your solid allied health or workers compensation experience. You will be able to manage your own day while providing timely and personalised face-to-face claims management and on-the-spot treatment approvals in alignment with legislation. Through outstanding customer experience and case management you will be helping injured workers return to work and supporting their employers.
This will be a permanent, full-time position based in our Sydney Office. This role will have flexibility to work from home and include a car allowance, enhanced laptop, and mobile phone.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver personalised face-to-face assistance to workers and employers over a defined period of time as agreed with the Case Manager
- Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders including workers, employers and providers
- Conduct community visits inclusive of but not limited to work sites or medical clinics
- Pro-actively achieve the optimum outcome of recovery and early sustainable return to work for workers
- Consult with the Case Manager, Providers, Employers and Return to Work Specialist where required
ABOUT YOU
- 3+ years Allied Health experience and a strong understanding of various injuries and injury management plans
- Knowledge of the NSW workers compensation legislation and regulations
- Ability to understand the needs of people recovering from a physical or psychological injury and knowledge of what is important to maximise recovery
- Understanding of medical terminology and injury recovery timeframes.
- You must own your own vehicle & current unrestricted NSW Driver's License, as there will be site visits involved in this role
