We foster a learning culture that allows for us to continually invest in our employees ensuring a long-term career here at EML.THE OPPORTUNITYAs a Mobile Case Manager, you will provide high quality intervention to injured workers and employers through personalised face-to-face assistance.This role will enable you to facilitate effective workplace based co-ordination of a timely and safe return to work that benefits an injured worker's recovery and helps employers manage their worker's compensation obligations.This will be a full time, permanent position servicing the Western Sydney Area with the occasional travel to our Sydney CBD or Parramatta office.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver personalised face-to-face assistance to workers and employersProvide workers' compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers employers and providersConduct community visits inclusive of but not limited to work sites or medical clinicsPro-actively achieve the optimum outcome of recovery and early sustainable return to work for workersConsult with Providers, Employers and Return to Work Specialists where requiredABOUT YOUStrong Rehabilitation / Return to Work knowledge and experience is idealTertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Exercise Science) is desirableAllied Health background is desirable - understanding of medical terminology and injury recovery timeframesKnowledge of the NSW workers' compensation legislation and regulationsEffective listener and conflict resolution skills. Ability to understand the needs of people recovering from a physical or psychological injury and knowledge of what is important to maximise recovery and return to workExcellent attention to detail, organisational skills, written and verbal proficiencyOwn vehicle with a 5 star ANCAP rating, insurance & current unrestricted NSW Drivers LicenseWHAT WE OFFERWe stand together as equals.
