They require casual employees to maintain recycling vending machines across the Northern parts of Melbourne and surrounding areas.
As an Attendant for our client, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, cleanliness and maintenance of recycling vending machines across the Northern Melbourne Area.
You will be responsible for the upkeep and general maintenance of machinery and equipment associated with our clients recycling machines, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of new recycling initiatives.
The role is based off a rotating roster, typically 4 on, 2 off. Each rotation will change from Morning to Afternoon shift.
(penalty rates apply to afternoons and weekends)
Morning Shift: 7am - 2pm
Afternoon Shift: 1pm - 8pm
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery and equipment.
- Drive to various sites where the recycling vending machines are located.
- Provide basic cleaning of Vending machine sensors.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule and prioritise maintenance tasks.
- Proactively approach problems and keep management informed of any issues you ca't resolve.
- Monitor equipment performance and proactively address potential problems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and guidelines during maintenance activities.
Requirements for the role:
- All training will be provided
- Cleaning or MAintenance experience desired
- Some customer service will be required.
- Valid drivers licence and reliable transport
- Ability to work independently or part of a wider team.
- Be able to pass a pre-employement medical and police check.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and record keeping.
