We operate on a not-for-profit basis and provide in-home care, private and mobile nursing, personal care, assisted transport, physiotherapy and day trips to ensure our clients can live at home independently for as long as possible. We have exciting opportunities for experienced Enrolled & Registered Nurses (AHPRA registered) to join our supportive and friendly clinical team.
The Role:
Responsible for the delivery of client-centred care, we are seeking dynamic, ENs & RNs to engage in rewarding mobile nursing across our expanding client base. With a focus on improved client outcomes, the roles will collaborate closely with the wider Clinical team and will be involved in designing, planning, delivering, and evaluating individual care plans. The roles will provide supportive, respectful and quality nursing care that aligns with the Aged Care standards of practice as well as guidelines set out by AHPRA.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver a timely and best practice service and accept accountability for own actions.
- Participate in planning and evaluation of initiatives, process improvement, documentation and monitoring of client services for improved health outcomes.
- Maintain open and effective communication with other staff, members of the clinical team, clients and their relatives.
- Adhere to and support best practice in infection control, waste management and universal precautions.
- Prompt medication, administer medicines, administer any form of injectables, apply creams, patches, inhalations, perform eye washes, etc. with a current written authority.
- Insert or change a urinary catheter, administer PEG feeds, perform wound care, stoma care and tracheostomy care.
- Work in collaboration with Clinical team to implement creative solutions that meet client wants and needs.
- Provide and document high level in-home nursing care using the principles of respect, dignity and person-centered care.

The successful candidate will require:
- At least 5 years’ experience in the Health Care / Aged Care industry or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, skilled and timely care.
- Demonstrated high level of communication skills with a dedication to the provision of quality care.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to change.
- Current Basic Life Support, CPR and First Aid Certificates.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current driver’s licence, a full driving history report and a registered and insured motor vehicle.
