ABOUT THE HOSPITAL
Toronto Private Hospital is a premier 105 bed medical, mental health, medical, palliative care and rehabilitation hospital situated on the western side of Lake Macquarie, NSW, on the hill overlooking the township of Toronto. It is centrally located and a 30-minute drive from the major cities of Gosford, Newcastle and Maitland.
THE ROLE IN DETAIL
Essential criteria:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years' post graduate experience
- Mental Health Experience (Applicable for Mental Health Unit)
- Ability to work seven day rotating roster or ability to work night duty over seven days
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Sound clinical knowledge for safe patient care
- Knowledge Infection Control Principles and Protocols
- A commitment to customer service and quality improvement
- A commitment to work well in a team
- Current Police Record (last 3 months)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Immunisation Record
- COVID 19 Immunisation
Desirable criteria:
- Experience in relevant field
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Life Support (RN)
- Post Graduate qualifications (RN)
