Mobile Therapy Tasmania provides high-quality remedial mobile massage therapy services across Hobart and its surrounding areas. We specialise in delivering convenient and professional therapeutic experiences to our clients, predominantly aged individuals receiving funding through Home Care Packages. We also service clients from National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Short Term Restorative Care (STRC) programs and also in other various settings, including private residences, offices, and events.
Position Title:Remedial Massage Therapist
Location: Greater Hobart area
About the Role
As a mobile Massage Therapist, you will treat a variety of clients with a wide range of health conditions and mobility issues in their home within your scope of practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional massage therapy services to clients in their homes or other preferred locations.
- Assess clients' needs and develop personalised care plans
- Maintain accurate records of progress notes
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, other healthcare professionals and cooperate with our administration team for support.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy
- A member of an Accredited Massage Association.
- Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurances
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Working With Vulnerable People Card (or ability to obtain upon commencement)
- Current Police Check
- Valid Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle.
- ABN for independent contractors

- Ability to adapt massage techniques to meet the specific needs and preferences of elderly, vulnerable and diverse clients
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people
- Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for all of our clients
- A minimum of 2 days a week availability to begin with
- Good organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records
- At least one year's work experience in the Massage Therapy Industry is preferred.
