The Role
Reporting into the Workplace Experience Manager, the Modern Workplace Engineer role is a newly created role to support the Workplace Experience team in driving a highly automated Workplace environment, accelerating ways of working and amplifying the capability and productivity of the business.
As part of your role, you will get the opportunity to be involved with assisting with strategic projects and initiatives where there are elements of technology enabled change. You will continuously review and improve the way you and others in the team deliver any enterprise-wide workplace support and solutions.
This role can be based in our Melbourne or Sydney offices.
About you
An experienced Modern Workplace Engineer, you have a minimum of 5+ years experience in a similar capacity.
Your previous experiences have allowed you to dabble in level 2 and 3 technical support in a virtual desktop environment. With a strong customer mindset, you possess the know-how in resolving complex technical issues for a wide variety of stakeholders to minimize any downtime for the business.
Other technical proficiencies include:
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Identity (AAD, AD Connect, PIM) Conditional Access, Intune (Endpoint Manager), Autopilot, MDM & MDM
• Experience supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, including gold image management, application packaging and data roaming.
· • In-depth knowledge of 365 environments, including but not limited to: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune and related M365 Admin Centers
• Highly proficient in PowerShell to support Windows Virtual Desktop, M365 and Azure Management
• Good knowledge and background in Exchange Administration both on-prem and online is desirable
• Good understanding of Azure networking fundamentals
• Windows Virtual Desktop experience highly desirable
