Chief Operating Officer Aged Care, Community and Mental Health - Monash HealthMelbourne, AustraliaAbout Monash HealthMonash Health is Victoria's largest public health service. Providing care across the entire lifespan, their major hospitals include Monash Medical Centre, Monash Children's Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, and Casey Hospital in Berwick. Monash Health also provide care at Moorabbin Hospital, the Kingston Centre, and the Cranbourne Integrated Community Care Centre.Monash Health have over 40 locations across south-eastern Victoria, including several community health centres in Berwick, Cockatoo, Springvale, Dandenong, and more. They opened the new Monash Children's Hospital in Clayton in April 2017 and have begun planning for the Victorian Heart Hospital which will be Australia's first dedicated cardiac hospital. With such a range of locations and specialties, their career opportunities are just as varied.About the roleReporting to the Chief Executive these two positions have executive responsibility for the leadership and management of the Operational functions for nominated operational and program portfolios across Monash Health. Working together they will deliver on our operational service targets.The Operational Services of Monash Health are delivered as part of an integrated care model, they reflect best practice, meet the needs of the defined target group and are delivered within budget. The Medical Program services are supported by a detailed operational plan.
