George Capital team is growing, and we are seeking Mortgage Brokers to join the team.
Join our dynamic team in a rewarding commission-based role tailored for self-starters! The primary function of the role is to write home loans, generate new opportunities and deliver exceptional customer experiences all while fostering referral partner relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end processing of mortgage loans
- Understanding clients’ goals, needs and loan borrowing capacity
- A commitment to delivering quality service for supporting customers to find the right loan while they focus on discovering their dream home or buying an investment property.

Essential Skills
- We are looking for determined and motivated brokers
- Prior experience in the mortgage broking or lending industry
- Ability to assess potential risk factors and take remedial measures
- Keen eye to details and good presentation skills
- Ability to think analytically
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven solution-based sales experience
- High professionalism and situational awareness
- High autonomy and ability to create referral networks to generate own leads.
Qualifications
- 'Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking' or a 'Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking Management’.
- Prior successful experience as a Mortgage Broker or lender – minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Previous experience with Mercury system or similar
