Motor Enthusiast Underwriter - Part Time

We're currently recruiting for specialists to join our team on Wednesday 20th March.
We have two permanent Part Time shift options on offer. See below for more information.
As part of your role, you will undertake 7 weeks full time, in office training at our Hobart office to ensure you are set up for success!
What you'll do

• Taking incoming calls from our new and existing customers
• Providing information and product knowledge to identify the right level of insurance protection to meet the customers requirement.
• Strive to make the complex simple whilst ensuring the customers' needs are met
• Share your passion for motoring and provide a unique service to ensure your customers can drive or ride forward with confidence, knowing they are covered by Shannons

• High level of technical ability and navigating multiple systems

Shift Options
At Shannons, our contact centre operates from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 7pm and Saturday to Sunday 9am to 5pm.
We are recruiting for the following part-time shift options:
*Please note times below are in TAS time zone.

• Shift 2: *Sat, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri - 25 hours per week - start window 9.30am-12.30pm on weekdays and 9am-11am on Saturday.
• Shift 3: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri - 24 hours per week - start window 9.30am-12.30pm
• Shift 4: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri - 30 hours per week - start window 8am-11am

A start window means you will be on a rostered to commence your shift anytime during these times. This will be rotating roster and you will be provided with these 4 weeks in advance.
*For any Saturday shift you will receive 100% loading after 12pm.
Working From Home
In addition, Shannon's offers a hybrid working model which allows you to find a balance between working from home and working from the office, while delivering your best work.
Please note, there is a 50/50 split between working from and working in the office.
To successfully work from home, you must have the following:

• Home phone line or VOIP connection
• Internet connection
• Dual screens, mouse and webcam
• Ergonomic set up with desk and chair in a quiet, private space
• Anti-Virus Software
