Position Overview
To support our expansion, we are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team. This role is pivotal to extending our service range, ensuring high-quality mechanical repairs alongside our established electrical services. We are proud to offer opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive and dynamic work environment.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a starting annual salary between $70,000 - $75,000 + superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting comprehensive diagnostics to identify faults in engines and mechanical parts
Dismantling, inspecting, and repairing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other vehicle components
Undertaking repair and replacement of worn and defective parts, following up with meticulous reassembly
Performing routine maintenance services
Testing and adjusting repaired systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance
Utilising diagnostic tools and computers for accurate fault finding and repairs
Inspecting vehicles for roadworthiness and detailing necessary repairs for compliance
Minimum Requirements
Advanced Diploma or higher in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a comprehensive mechanic role
