We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Parts Interpreter to join our team in Croydon.
The role is varied with lots of moving parts coupled with strong responsibility in managing internal and external customers, stock orders, picking and packing, sourcing, allocating parts for orders and stock control.
You are an integral member of the Parts team, supporting the workshop and technicians, ensuring they have what they need to exceed guest expectations.
About the role:
- Assisting the Parts Department, providing parts to both internal and external customers;
- Handling of Parts Sales and enquiries;
- Placement and management of daily orders;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and fellow staff;
- Processing incoming orders and contributing to accurate inventory management;
- Identifying various parts and components accurately;
- Invoice preparation; and
- Organising the dispatch of orders, working closely with warehouse team
.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a Parts Interpreter role;
- Excellent PC literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly;
- Experience in ERAPower (ideally TUNE in addition);
- Able to work autonomously in a busy, multi-facet workshop;
- Ability to deal with conflicting deadlines and priorities;
- Able to manage various stakeholders while delivering superior customer service skills;
- Confident, high achiever who is passionate about the automotive industry;
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills;
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills;
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers quickly; and
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow processes and ensure accuracy of paperwork.
