About the Role:
- BIBO (Yeppoon and Bundaberg) DIDO
- 7:7 Day Shift only Roster (Wednesday - Tuesday)

We are looking for experienced Mobile Processing Unit (MPU) Operators to join the current team at the Rolleston Mine in the Bowen Basin.
Working on an even time 7:7 dayshift only roster you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, transporting and unloading of explosive products directly to blast holes on the customer site.
Reporting to the Blast Services Supervisor, you will act as frontline customer facing personnel and product steward in the daily work environment on the customer site. You will also be responsible for assisting with maintaining standards of presentation and reliability of MPU’s on site and actively contribute to a safe and healthy work environment for yourself and the team.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Demonstrate an excellent attitude and commitment to comply with Safety and Health standards and policies, including producing Take 5’s and attending pre-shift meetings
- Safe and efficient operation of MPU’s to manufacture and deliver finished bulk explosive products
- Mentor and assess the competence of AECI trainee personnel in the operation of the equipment
- Assist with preventative maintenance and upkeep of the equipment
- Assist the site blast crew across all roles and requirements of on-bench operations
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with our Customers built on mutual trust and respect
- Mentor and guide AECI MPU trainee personnel in the operation of the equipment when required to help facilitate upskilling
- At all times acting with integrity and in line with AECI and Customer Values
The Successful Applicant Will Possess:
- At least 2+ years’ MPU Operation experience is essential and an understanding of relevant legislation
- Knowledge of pumping systems and MPU calibration
- An understanding of legislation relevant to the open cut mining environment is desirable
- A strong work ethic with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Advanced written and verbal skills
- A desire to embrace AECI’s Zero Harm approach and our values and vision to be the supplier of choice for customers in the explosives market
- Current Standard 11 and CBM
- Current HR Licence or RII Operate heavy rigid vehicle
- Queensland Explosives Security Clearance
- RII Support Shot Firing Operations
- RII Store Handle and Transport Explosives
- RII Conduct Mobile Mixing Explosives
