Form of workElecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.
Who you are:
Elecnor Australia has an exciting opportunity forMulti Combination Driversto join the team on our project. The role will be based at our Laydown Yard and Camp in Lockhart, 45 minutes out of Wagga Wagga.
You will be required to work a 3/1 roster (21 days on, 7 days off). FIFO or DIDO to Wagga Wagga. 10 hour days 6.30am to 5pm. This could also suit a local resident to the area, interested in working on that roster.
This will be an allrounder role where you will be required to be hands on in the yard - operating forklifts, telehandlers as well as driving Heavy Vehicles.
What you will bring to the team:
- Current Whitecard
- MC Drivers License
- CN Crane License as a minimum
- 3+ years experience in similar role
- Proof of right to work in Australia
- Undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
- Other High Risk Work Licenses applicable to the role
- Experience driving Water Trucks, Fuel Trucks and Crane Trucks an advantage
