About the role:
Based at our Yatala site, we are seeking an MR/HR Driver to join our team to serve our local customer base. Your day to day tasks will include multi-stop pickups and deliveries of bins along an assigned daily run. You will be responsible for loading and unloading the truck both by hand and by manual pallet jack. Scanning of the freight, completion of the appropriate paperwork and liaising with the customer are all key components of this role. This role includes elements of heavy lifting both in transit as well as at our facility.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Valid MR or HR licence, clean driving record
- Previous commercial driving experience, multi drop preferred
- Dangerous goods ticket preferred (not essential, training provided)
- Willingness to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
- Willingness to undertake a National Police Criminal History Check
We are seeking someone who can work independently, displays a superior commitment to safety and who will represent the Cleanaway Daniels brand with pride. Ideally, you will also have a working knowledge of the Gold Coast/Brisbane areas, but this is not essential.
Due to the nature of this work, evidence of currency of vaccination or the willingness to receive defined vaccinations is essential. This will include Covid (2 shots minimum), Flu Shot and Hepatitis A & B.
