We're currently looking for experienced MULTI-DROP Delivery Drivers to fill the position of Home Delivery Driver based at our Armadale store. Best described as a village grocer, we have been in business since 2007 and continue to grow.

Home Delivery Driver Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality produce and pantry products to our customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with customers.
• Ensure the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
• Obtain delivery confirmation from each customer
• Determine safe placement of merchandise in delivery vehicles, follow best practice manual handling safety procedures during deliveries
• Accurately process all delivery paperwork
• Adhere to and follow delivery routing
• Pledge to drive in a safe and reliable manner at all times

Delivery Driver Qualifications / Skills:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Delivery Driver role in Melbourne
• Valid Drivers License & a clean driving record
• Technically savvy with mobile phone apps & computer software
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with local streets, neighbourhoods – south eastern Melbourne
• Highly responsible & reliable
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Ability & passion to work cohesively as part of a team

Several positions are available - full time (38 hours) and casual (20 plus hours +). Based in our Armadale store. Hours of work will include weekdays & or some weekend work.

Its hands on, physical and full of variety. You are constantly in and out of a vehicle delivering goods to our customers homes. No two shifts are ever the same. You may also be expected to work in the store during some of your shifts, restocking shelves and assisting the Home Delivery team picking & packing orders.
