The Fragrance Group has a perfect opportunity for an experienced full-time Multi-Hotel Associate Director of Sales (based in Hobart) to join our amazing team. The Portfolio consists of the Mövenpick Hotel Hobart | Mövenpick Hotel Melbourne on Spencer | ibis Styles Hobart | Novotel Devonport.
Reporting to the Director of Commercial, the primary focus of this role is on the Tasmanian market and is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career and expand their knowledge in a multi-hotel environment.
ALL about the role:
- Being passionate about finding and converting new business opportunities
- Guiding and leading other team members to succeed in setting goals
- Working collaboratively with the entire Sales & Marketing team to achieve overall business objectives
- Maintain a complete understanding of the Hotel's sales visions, its products, services, and rate structure to fulfil business objectives
- Build, develop, and maintain relationships with hotel's current network
- Maintain effective communication with the Director of Commercials, providing market intelligence regularly and an understanding of competitor strengths, weaknesses, and ongoing sales activities
- Plan, develop, and implement promotional strategies and marketing plans
- Liaise with the Accor National Sales team to ensure access to key accounts and maximise any sales opportunities
- Assist, implement, and monitor sales strategies for conferences and events
- Participate and represent Accor at key industry/trade events that will ensure an appropriate return on investment.
Qualifications
ALL about you:
- Demonstrated sales experience in a hotel or related tourism industry
- Sales flair will be complemented by your epic problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, relationship management, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Well-developed time management and prioritising skills
- Understanding of digital marketing for the hotel industry and ability to take on occasional projects in this area
- Result-driven, with a motivated personality
- Well presented with a confident, positive and approachable demeanour
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Sales & Marketing or Hospitality qualifications highly regarded
