We currently have an opportunity for a Multi Skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Welder to join the Workshop Team. As a Multi Skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Welder you will get to:
- Assist the Workshop and Store Coordinator in the repair and maintenance of Council’s plant and vehicle fleet and associated assets.
- Ensure that plant and equipment is maintained to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Promote the image of Council’s workshop service as being responsive, courteous and efficient
What we offer...
- Permanent full time, 38 hours per week across a 4-day period
(Starting from 6.30am until 4.30pm Monday to Thursday) - Annual salary from $61,368.32 to $76,776.96 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- Plus 11% superannuation
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
- Plant Mechanic or Automotive Trade Certificate.
- Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Experience in basic welding and oxy cutting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- MVRIC Certificate.
