We are looking for a suitably qualified Multi - Skilled Labourer to join the team. You will be responsible to undertake labouring, plant operation and maintenance works effectively and efficiently within the Municipality that meets with legislation, industry standards and GCC’s annual maintenance plans.
The successful applicant will have:
- The ability to operate and maintain plant equipment, tools, including spraying equipment and personal protective equipment correctly and efficiently.
- Understanding and knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and experience with Safe Operating Procedures (SOPS).
- Ability to work well within a team environment and to adapt to a changing environment.
- Sound literacy, communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
Qualifications required:
- Certificate III in Horticulture and/or 2 years recent experience in horticulture or local government.
- Current Medium Rigid Truck “MR” Class licence
- White Card
- Traffic Management Accreditation
Position Hours: Full-Time, 76 hours per fortnight.
Salary range: $57,886.42 to $60,831.48 plus 14.5% superannuation
