Our client is looking for both graduate level but also highly experienced Maintenance Engineers who have a multi skilled portfolio across mechanical and electrical to work NIGHTS 3 days a week.
They are a market leader in their sector who will provide elite training and support from Europe, support you with maximum earning opportunities and plans to progress with the company if desired.
You must have the personal attributes to be able to lead, take control and handle the pace and pressure. As this is a nights role you will have support on call and over seas but the client requires solid engineers who will keep a cool head and complete all required tasks on shift.
Responsibilities of The Role:
- Mechanical and Electrical experience – Can have an 80% bias towards mechanical
- Report in detail, work carried out on work orders
- CMMS Knowledge
- Ensure safe work practices are adhered to (Completing permits to work, Risk assessments etc. before commencing work)
- Identify potential problems or efficiency improvements
- PLC programming and troubleshooting (Training Provided)
- Installation & commissioning of V.S.D's (Variable Speed Drives)
- Panel wiring, maintenance, general lighting & maintaining machines
- Test & tagging of electrical equipment license
- Dis/Re connect licence or Electrical Licence (Training/Accreditation provided)
- Interpreting electrical diagrams
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Working with other trades as a team on projects
- Mechanical aptitude
Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years working within manufacturing
- A printing or packaging background would be desired
- Trade Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- PLC Exposure not required but desired
- Able to lead, manage and work alone on all tasks
