Multiple Cloud Software Engineer (S)

• 12 Month Contract + 2 X 12 Month Extension
• Ability to obtain a Baseline Clearance
• Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne opportunities

Our Client, a large Federal Government Department is seeking to engage multiple Cloud Software Engineers for a long term engagement (3 X 12 Months). We are looking for Software Engineers with a particular interest in cloud native development and infrastructure as code.

Experience developing and delivering enterprise web applications utilising established development tools:

• .NET
• JavaScript / Typescript
• Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture
• SQL / Entity Framework
• CI/CD Practices

Desirable Skills:

- Experience with Cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code

- Experience with Azure Devops pipeline automation

- Experience with PowerShell

- Experience with Git

- Test automation

- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities will include:

• • Participate in requirements analysis;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture;
  • Write clean, maintainable and scalable code;
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code;
  • Assist with operations support duties;
  • Work collaboratively with team members;
  • Test and deploy applications and systems;
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code;
  • Improve and maintain existing software
