Our client, a small Federal Government agency located in Civic, ACT, requires multiple experienced developers - . NET, Java and Java Technical Team Lead.
The ideal candidate (s) will have strong application development experience with Workers Compensation Claims Management Systems, including claims registration, payment and management, development of online applications, imaging and document management, preparation of design documentation, and provision of management reports.
Java Developer
This role will assist the development of systems and applications that are to be used for capturing and managing client data by our business units. This includes the provision of advice, understanding business requirements, documenting solutions, and undertaking development activities.
Java Technical Team Lead
The Java Technical Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of Java developers in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. They oversee the technical aspects of the project, ensuring that the team follows best practices and standards for software development.
.Net Developer / Power Applications Developer
To support on-going enhancements to existing business application developed in .NET and MS Power Platform. The role of .NET and Power Apps developer is required to support these BAU and Project related activities. The role ensures that key deliverables for the BAU work and project
are delivered within required timeframes. The developer will assist with the technical solution design and implementation of the business
requirements for BAU and project related work. They will also be required to provide Level 3 and Level 4 support for the relevant applications.
Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using various programming languages, frameworks, and techs- Java, Python, JavaScript, React, Angular, Spring Boot, etc.
- Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications.
- Following best practices and standards for software development, such as code quality, security, performance, and documentation.
- Document the software development process, including the design, architecture, code, testing, and deployment
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for software issues
- In addition to the above responsibilities, the Java Technical Team Lead will provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team.
Selection Criteria
- At least 10+ years' experience working as a Java / JEE Developer.
- Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
- Experience in XML Technologies (XSLT/WSDL/SOAP/XSD/XQUERY).
- Experience with Oracle Database.
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and demonstrated experience writing SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with multidiscipline development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Distributed Systems.
- Understanding of workers compensation law, SRC and ARC Acts.
