Lead the testing for the Service Modernisation Project including managing the Test Strategy and Test Plan, managing test analysts, support User Acceptance Testing. Support the delivery of high-quality software and the successful implementation of systems enhancements / upgrades. Where possible, contribute to and enhance client's existing test capability.
Key accountabilities
- Support the testing capability in company with a particular focus on the Service Modernisation project.
- Work as an active member of an agile development team to deliver fit for purpose business outcomes.
- Lead activities to review, recommend and implement the test plan for SMP, including a focus on coordinating/managing UAT with the business stakeholders and external customers.
- Manage the Test Strategy for SMP.
- Ensure test standards are adhered to across all changes / releases
- Monitor and report on testing progress and make recommendations on sign-off of the release.
- Liaise with business stakeholders and other internal resources on implementation of test plans.
- Lead and manage test analysts working on SMP
- Work with the test team within client and comply with all CAB and TCAB requirements prior to release
- Support and provide inputs to data migration, integration and regression testing in the capacity of testing
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of standardised test artefacts in accordance with industry best practice
- Apply and implement company's test tools and tracking systems in accordance with ICT Policy, for SMP
- Facilitate workshops and participate in project meetings or on project boards, as well as prepare papers and presentations for key stakeholders and governance committees as required
- 5+ years' experience as a Test Lead is required
- Demonstrated experience managing a diverse range of stakeholders
- Experience using and implementing test automation tools and practices
- Experience testing user interfaces and APIs
- Experience managing UAT with business stakeholders and external customers
- Experience supporting digital transformation projects, preferably in Dynamics365 highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing small teams, particularly in a fast-paced agile delivery environment
