The Colac Otway Shire Council is seeking to recruit a Multipurpose Officer/Plant Operator to join their Services and Operations team in Colac in a Temporary Full-Time capacity until June 2025.
As a member of the Services and Operations team you will carry out allocated tasks on Council's roads, bridges and road reserves, as well as Council-owned and managed land, with an emphasis on safety, quality and budget requirements to meet corporate values and standards.
This position is based at the Colac depot.
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Demonstrated experience in manual/outdoor civil work activities
- Demonstrated experience in road construction/maintenance works
- Written communication skills
- Traffic control, roadwork signage competence certificate essential
- OH&S Construction Induction Card/White Card essential
- Truck and/ or required machinery tickets such as grader, roller, loader, excavator and skid steer
- Current manual drivers licence

Salary information: $62,214.95 to $65,843.88 per annum plus superannuation.
