Our client is seeking two enthusiastic and capable individuals to join their team for an upcoming cattle muster. The muster will involve handling up to 4,000 head of cattle using bikes, with assistance from light aircraft and a helicopter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cattle Mustering: Confidently operate 2-wheeler bikes across sandy and rocky terrain to muster cattle.
- Livestock Handling: Basic understanding of livestock handling is essential.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, following instructions and maintaining good communication.
- Physical Fitness: Perform prolonged, physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment.
- Respect and Care: Treat animals and equipment with respect.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bike Skills: Confident in handling a 2-wheeler bike riding at speed across rough country.
- Livestock Knowledge: Basic knowledge of livestock handling.
- Communication: Pleasant to talk to and able to follow instructions.
- Outdoor Enthusiast: Enjoys the outdoors and is open to experiencing remote station life.
- Physical Fitness: Physically fit for demanding work with long hours.
