This role is a key a front-line collections position and critical to the effective provision of the collections service to the community. Working as part of a team, this role performs collection duties utilising rear loading waste collection vehicles, including driving a rear loading waste collection heavy vehicle, moving bins, operating lifting equipment, loading bins and waste material into collection vehicles and operating compaction equipment. As part of skills-building and succession planning there is opportunity to provide relief coverage across the section, including driving dual-control side loading waste collection vehicles.

Remuneration: $64,682.33 + 11% Superannuation per annum for a 38-hour week, with an additional Waste Collection Allowance of $23.60 per shift. Voluntary overtime is frequently available for this position.
