About the role of Head Coach
The Head Coach’s role is to provide support and leadership to the coaching team within their club. The Head Coach plays a critical role in ensuring that the classes within their club are delivered to a high standard and that the coaching team are providing a class experience that is consistent with the MyFirstGym mission, vision and values. 

MyFirstGym Head Coach Key Responsibilities 

• Assisting in creating a club culture that focuses on a quality member experience by leading by example and demonstrating a first class member service that positively impacts overall member retention in the club.
• Assisting in creating a high performance coaching team environment that delivers excellence in work, professionalism, maturity and personal standards. 
• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of quality coaches who share in the MyFirstGym values. 
• Developing, rewarding and retaining all coaches through effective performance management and performance reviews. 
• Motivating and inspiring the coaching team to deliver outcome based programs that inspire movement and see members leaving class with a smiling red face.
• Conducting monthly coach assessments and provide praise and feedback to coaches. 
• Leading by example and providing support and cover to your team when required. 
• Supporting the Club Manager in developing relationships outside of the club to ensure that your club has a strong presence within its local community.

Skills and experience required
