The role:
The Australian Beauty School is looking to hire a professional Nail Tech Trainer & Assessor to join its existing beauty student support team. In this role you would work alongside our other beauty tutors in supporting and tutoring our online beauty students. Primarily, your role would be assessing student assignments. Students submit photographs, videos and written responses. You will have the opportunity to utilise both written and video responses to students.
Core Responsibilities:
This role would be responsible for teaching students, assessing their work and participating in filming new Nail Tech related content. Please ensure to read the required criteria prior to applying for this role.
The core responsibilities for this role include;
- Marking student assignment submissions.
- Facilitating phone and video support calls.
- Answering student questions and providing instructions via email or video.
- Participating in filming course content and nail related tutorials.
- Participating in writing nail related course content.
- Training and supporting junior tutors in Nail Tech related support.
Your profile and required criteria: Ideal candidates for this position must have;
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Nail Tech.
- Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment
- Understanding of and experience in delivering multiple Nail Tech services including Acrylic, builder gel, gel polish, nail tips and forms.
- Recent qualifications in Nail Tech and Educational Support.
- The ability to present and instruct.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for learning and educating others.
- Approachable and friendly personality.
Nice to have: Some nice to have qualities or experiences include;
- A higher qualification in teaching, tutoring or education support.
- Experience in education, teaching or tutoring.
- Competency, understanding and specialisation for other treatments such as Eyelash Extensions, Pedicures, or Nail art.
Role Requirements:
- The ability to work in the office and from home when required.
- Full time availability.
- Availability for either one of two shifts.
Shift 1 - Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm
Shift 2 - Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 6pm *This shift has a higher salary to account for Saturday.
Salary:
$85,000 - $95,000 depending on experience and expertise. Plus super, plus bonuses.
