Account Manager for FMCG Supermarkets

As a National Account Manager , Your focus will be supporting and driving sales across major National Accounts Customers.
You will represent their entire significantly branded product portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
Support in the management of their large accounts in terms of marketing programs, events, product demonstrations ect, within the context of their overall national sales plan.
- Prepare pre-sales materials including Proposals, presentations and competitive analyses.
- Identify opportunities for incremental account growth through market research, competitor analysis, sales performance and client satisfaction.
- Manage key relationships and deal directly with key account staff such as buyers and merchandise staff to maintain and grow their major accounts.
- Range /sales review and SKU analysis to provide insight for senior management
- Putting together pricing strategies and promotional programmes
- all related ad-hoc administration.
Key requirements:
- To be successful in this role you will have at least 3 years of Account Management experience and or working and dealing with supermarkets.
- You will also have an unbeatable entrepreneurial spirit that is self-motivating and positive about all outcomes and solutions.
- You will generate innovative ideas and think outside the box to explore unconventional solutions.
- A current valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Prior FMCG Account management experience- (Preferably Fresh)
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong verbal communication, and negotiation skills.
- Team player attitude - work with your fellow account Managers to improve results.
- Well versed Excel and PowerPoint
