The Opportunity
Working within our Sales team and reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, this position will play a pivotal role in key category and commercial decision making. With cross-functional colleagues, you will support planning and activation of business initiatives across our domestic and international regions. We need a person that can get things done, this role will be responsible for:
- Leading the domestic Category Range Review process with key Grocery, Pharmacy and Convenience channel retailers
- Owning the Commercial Calendar including Range Reviews and new product introduction timelines, including international projects
- Using market data to identify trends and patterns across trade channels to problem solve and recommend solutions
- Providing sales analytical support to identify insights and opportunities for domestic and international sales channels
- Building and tracking NPD success metrics including market distribution, rate of sale, pricing and competitor performance
- Developing promotional guidelines that drive net price realisation through understanding the impact of promotional type, frequency & depth
What you'll bring
- Experience in similar FMCG Category, National Account Manager roles
- Have completed a higher education Degree, such as Bachelor of Commerce
- A curious mindset, with the ability to extract data from various sources and convert into sound commercial insights
- A willingness and track record of working cohesively within cross-functional teams, either as leader or team member
- Sound knowledge of retail and industry data sources and insight tools
