Description
You will have a general indirects background and be able to demonstrate the following capability:
Sourcing:
- Identify focused sourcing initiatives through detailed spend analysis, category insight, and opportunities arising from alignment with specific business objectives.
- Lead sourcing initiatives, including key elements of pre-qualification of shortlisted suppliers, supplier and market analysis, negotiations, evaluations, supplier selection, risk assessment, implementation, and formalisation of legal agreements.
Category Management:
- Drive structured quarterly business reviews through the SRM program with key suppliers and business stakeholders to assess and measure supplier performance and compliance against KPIs, policies, category objectives, P2P, risk management strategies, in addition to two-way knowledge exchange and gathering of market intelligence.
- Assess and implement targeted demand management strategies to drive spend efficiency's.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Ensure alignment of business and procurement strategies, report procurement performance to objectives, and ensure P2P compliance.
- Ensure effective business connectivity through proactive engagement at all levels of the organisation to ensure joint objectives and initiatives for all categories.
Profile
To be our next Procurement Category Manager - Indirects, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
